How you can make citrus basil Lox

In a bowl, mix salt, sugar, zest and basil. Season all sides of the salmon generously with the salted combination.

Place them in a glass, pyrex or plastic dish. Cowl with plastic wrap and depart within the fridge in a single day.

The following day, rinse the salted salmon combination totally. Dry with paper towels, then depart to dry within the fridge for one hour. Slice thinly and serve.
